YBFF's Pet Care Rates
May 2011

As you will have read on our News & Announcements page, we have found it necessary to institute a temporary gas surcharge. The
surcharge will take effect May 1, 2011 and remain in effect until unleaded gas
prices fall below $3.25 in
the Denver Metro area.
Prices Effective 5/1/2011
$1.00 per visit for all pet/home sitting jobs
$0.50 per visit for all scheduled dog walking jobs

PET SITTING (all pet sitting services include home care)
1-2 Dogs or Cats or Dog/Cat Combo (approximate 30 minute visit) - 18.00/visit
By request longer visits (per quarter hour) - 9.00/quarter hour
Mid-day potty break and additional daily visits for cats - 14.00/visit
Dog Job starting with one visit or ending with one visit or those requiring only
one visit each day (longer visit with all pet care & home care combined into
one visit) - 23.00/visit
Each additional pet from same house (above 2) - 6.00/visit
Horse Care and other large animals (billed in quarter hour increments) (if combined
with other pets on a job, charges will be worked out on an individual basis) -
40.00/hour
Bird Care (approximate 30 minute visit) (additional time above 30 minutes will
be charged at the hourly rate) - 18.00/visit
Every other day Cat Sitting (1-2 cats) (We do not recommend this type of service,
our recommendation is all pets and the home should be visited daily) - 23.00/visit
Overnight pet/house sitting worked out on an individual basis (Base charge for
an 11 hour overnight period) - 70.00/night
Charges for other type pets and added services not covered in the normal pet
sitting service will be worked out on an individual basis based on the time requirements.
(Fish, snakes, rodents, bunnies, etc., errands, taxi, meeting workers at home,
abundance of plant watering, etc.)
Additional pets visiting/staying with you during our service of your pets will
be charged 50% of the normal rate and must be arranged with YBFF at least one
week in advance.
Home care without pets (approximate 15 minute visit) (additional time above 15
minutes will be charged at the hourly rate) - 15.00/visit
Scheduling of service with less than 48 hour notice over any holiday period -
20% of total job
Cancellation of any pet sitting service with less than 168 hours/7 days confirmed
prior notice - 25% of total job
Cancellation of any pet sitting service over any holiday period with less than
168 hours/7 days confirmed prior notice - 40% of total job
Cancellation of any overnight pet/house care service with less than 2 weeks (14days)
confirmed prior notice - 60% of total job
Cancellation of any overnight pet/house care service over any holiday period
with less than 2 weeks (14 days) confirmed prior notice - 75% of total job
DOG WALKING
Potty break for 1-2 dogs from same home/at same time - 14.00/visit
Each additional dog from same home/same time for a potty break - 4.00/dog
Approximate 30 minute walk for 1-2 dogs from same home at same time - 18.00/walk
Each additional dog from same home/at same time for a 30 minute walk - 5.00/dog
Approximate 45 minute walk for 1-2 dogs from same home - 24.00/walk
Each additional dog from same home/at same time for a 45 minute walk - 6.00/dog
Approximate 60 minute walk for 1-2 dogs from same home/at same time - 35.00/walk
Each additional dog from same home/at same time for 60 minute walk - 6.00/dog
Additional walk time per 15 minutes - 9.00
Combo home discount (dogs walked together from same complex or very close to
each other as agreed by clients and YBFF) - 20% discount
Discount for any 5 consecutive walks (no skipped days) - 2% off total 5 days
Cancellation of any type of walk without at least 4 hours prior notice - 14.00
Regularly scheduled weekly clients (m-f, m/w/f, tu/th, etc.) have their time
spots reserved within a one and one-half hour window. Providing YBFF is notified
at least 4 hours prior to scheduled service, we do not charge a cancellation fee.
YBFF understands most cancellations are unavoidable. However, should the cancellations
become excessive, a cancellation fee might be charged and/or the time spot opened
up to someone else.
YBFF does not charge a late notice booking fee for add-ins, however, please remember
that the regularly scheduled clients have their times reserved so the late add-in
times will be scheduled as close as possible to the requested time within the
one and one-half hour time frame.
CHAUFFEUR/ERRAND SERVICE
Vet and Grooming appointments, pick up pet food/supplies, etc. (billed in quarter
hour increments) - 40.00/hour
Last day grocery store run prior to your return home - 25.00
OTHER/MISCELLANEOUS
Key pick up or drop off after our initial service (keys are normally kept at
YBFF office) - 13.00
Lock out charge – Go to your home to unlock your door should you happen to lock
yourself out. YBFF is only able to do this if we have a team member available,
and only between the hours of 6am and 8pm. - 40.00/hour
Additional meeting requested after our initial/first meeting - 18.00/mtg
Charge for service provided outside our current service boundaries - 5.00/mile/day
DISCOUNTS
Discount for any 5 consecutive dog walks (no skipped days) - 2% off total 5 days
Discount for any referral you make that uses YBFF services - 10.00 off your next service
Periodic specials and discounts throughout the year
BILLING/PAYMENT
Payment is due upon completion of service by either check or cash. An invoice
and envelope for mailing will be left on the last day of pet sitting services,
and invoicing for walking services will be left every two weeks. A check can be
left for the dog walker to pick up, or it can be mailed to the office.
Any service over $300.00 will require payment of one-half the total service amount
at least 3 days prior to the start of service.
A 10% penalty will be charged for any amount due not received within 20 days
from the last day of service, and assessed again every 20 days on any balance
not paid.
There will be a $45.00 charge for all returned checks.
Gratuities
Gratuities is customary in the pet care industry and we graciously accept tips
as a show of appreciation for our dedication and hard work. This of course remains
a personal option as we do consider exceptional pet care to be a part of our job.
