Hello, my name is Brooke.  I have happily been apart of YBFF since Jan of 2006.  I joined Janice after working in the family painting business for over 10 years.  I had been through college, managed employees and crews working in the painting business, and started my own repaint business but I was missing something., I was ready for a change.  I need to do something I truly loved.  This was the perfect opportunity and I knew I was joining a great company since I had already been a client for 3 years.  So here I am and I love every minute.  I have always been drawn to animals.  Growing up we had dogs, rabbits, birds, a turtle and fish and I have never been without a pet since.  Fortunately my family also shares my love for animals.  My husband, Daniel, worked in animal welfare for over 8 years (I am always drawing on his experience) and my 4 year old daughter shy has not come across an animal yet, she doesn’t love.  Our hose is always crawling with creatures.  The gang now includes 2 dogs, Colby and Luli, 3 rats, Flower, Iris, and Daffodil, a tank full of fish, and 2 birds, but we are always adding more.  And of course my gang also includes my extended family, al our friends.  I love them all and enjoy spoiling everyone.

Hello, my name is Courtney and I am very excited to be a new part of the YBFF team. I have grown up in Colorado and enjoyed the company of many animals throughout my life. I have had the pleasure of growing up with horses, dogs, birds, fish, goats, lizards, chickens, cows, guinea pigs, you name it! If they have fur, scales, feathers, or fins I have probably cared for them at some point along the way.

I graduated from CU-Boulder with a degree in Business Administration & Marketing and jumped straight into the corporate world after that. It took me about one year to realize that I was on the wrong path and not following my true passion; working with animals. YBFF seems like a perfect fit to accompany my love for animals and I am looking very forward to meeting your furry (and scaly, and feathery) friends.

The animals in my life have been like family, and I can guarantee you that I will treat your pets as if they’re members of my own family (which right now includes my husband Travis, 2 dogs *Cooper & Khalua*, and several fish). And EVERYONE in my family gets lots of love, attention, and treats!

Hi! My name is Andrea. I’m a new contractor with YBFF, specializing in over-night pet sitting and home care. I am so excited to join the team and to be able “work” with animals! Animals have been dear in my life from childhood…I’ve had the pleasure of being a guardian to a dog (Coby—my beagle boy), turtles (Morgan Freeman and Mr. Owl—red eared sliders), lizards (bearded dragons), a rabbit (Demi—a mini lop), fish, and now a tarantula (Franky). I believe that each pet is an individual and should receive care based on its own unique personality. My commitment to you is to give your precious pets the same comfort and care in your absence as they are accustomed to getting when you are there.

I’m a Colorado native, CU Denver Biology/Chemistry graduate. I’ve worked in the Biotech industry as a research and development associate for the last 6 years, and I now work in Boulder, CO at a Molecular Diagnostics company, developing RNA-based biomarker panels to monitor disease status and therapy response. I live in Lakewood with my 5 year old son, Tyler, who’s attending a Montessori Kindergarten, playing hockey and soccer, and learning to read. We love taking trips to the museum, reading stories about Dinosaurs, and playing with out pets and our neighbor’s dogs.

I assure you that I will provide love and care for your pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your best friends!

Hello, my name is Carolyn, and I am very excited to become a part of the YBFF team! Over the years I have had the pleasure of working with many different creatures in a variety of professional and fun settings. I am hoping the skills and qualifications I have earned will enhance your pet sitting experience.

My main passion is horses. I have over 20 years experience riding, training, and caring for horses and am currently the assistant trainer at a private facility located in Larkspur. I compete in the disciplines of eventing, dressage, and jumpers, but have worked in endurance and western pleasure as well.

Before moving to Colorado 3 years ago, I was employed as a veterinary technician in Ohio where I gained invaluable experience in the field of animal healthcare. Pets with special needs? No problem! I am skilled in medicating, administering injections, bandaging, and providing pets with top of the line basic care.

My husband, Matt, and I currently are lucky to be parents to four very spoiled “children”- our collies, Seamus and Keefus; cat, Bruiser; and my amazing horse, Guinness. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and making them a part of my extended family!

Hello, my name is Patti Miller and I feel honored to be a new member of the YBFF team. I have lived in Colorado most of my life and can’t imagine living anywhere else. I just moved back to Littleton from Sedalia where I had lived with our horses and dogs. I breed and show Labradors and have two yellow labs, Spencer and Misty. I have been a medical assistant for 25+ years and am currently working with a large group of orthopedic surgeons. Due to my health care experience, I am able to provide exceptional care for elderly and special needs pets. My new living arrangements allow me to accommodate any overnight requirements for pet sitting. My love for animals is second to none and I will provide loving and nurturing care for your pets.
